This drama was a struggle for me. I found myself skipping some points and my interest for the main couple was never held. Instead, however, I found myself enjoying the quietness and sternness turned gentleness of Bae In-Hyuk’s Nam Soo-Hyun. His character ran the risk of becoming too much the antithesis of Yeo Joon that his change would have felt sudden and inauthentic, but watching his character’s subtle changes after breaking down his tough exterior himself, to become a better friend and ally, made for some good ol’ character development. So, am I still a sucker for Bae In Hyuk? Yes. Yes, I am.
